The Community is where we work, where we play, where we raise our children, where we call home.  It is our responsibility as citizens to exercise good stewardship within our communities.  Live locally and give locally to preserve the quality of life in our towns through these challenging times.

The prevailing economic climate has impacted nearly everyone in some way.  As the financial security of local citizens wavers there is a rippling effect in the community.  Nonprofit organizations and small local businesses alike suffer as cash flow diminishes.  We need to shop locally or the small businesses that are the fabric of our towns will close unable to weather the current conditions.  As a result, our village centers and urban environments will change dramatically.  Additionally, as stewards of our towns, we need to help the nonprofits who rely on the generosity of others to run their programs.  It's time to pull together and help each other out. 

The Live Local Give Local  campaign is an initiative of the Middlesex County Community Foundation  to raise awareness among the residents of Middlesex County about how important it is to take care of the community during this difficult time by living locally and giving locally. The Middlesex County Community Foundation helps maintain the quality of life in Middlesex County by offering training programs for and funding grants to nonprofit organizations to address the community needs.
